Piggy, it's ok to be friends, but you know pretty well the situation she's in. Why don't you just tell her whether or not you're interested, cos if you don't she'll just feel worse, n may end up making you feel as if you're responsible for it all... Hope you read this sometime.

It may very well be the case that ur acquaintance's piggy friend never intended to make her mad or anything and maybe he was just opening up to her. one week is really less time and for things related to heart especialy, its really less. I am not sayign that the piggy pal doesn't like Ms Broken Heart, coz i am pretty sure he does, but I think he is not in a position to say whether he is interested or not soo early.
but then again, its just me. who knows wht Mr. Piggy is thinking :)
Tell your acquaintance, to give Piggy more time and not to close doors on him or not to constrain him in timelines :)
